Impact Human Resources has a Hydrographer Engineering Job open that is based in Durban, Kwazulu Natal that is ideal for those who have an Engineering and Surveying Diploma / Degree Skipper or Coxswains Licence.

This role requires the hydrographer to:

• perform hydrographic surveys so as to monitor the siltation of channels and basins
• as well as to determine the effectiveness of dredging operations.

The candidate will be required to:

- Positioning of navigational buoys
- Maintaining of craft, equipment, vehicle and trailer
- Timekeeping
- Performing hydrographic surveys
- Reducing of hydrographic surveys
- Controlling of stock and monitoring of budget
- Updating matrix and removing track data on dredger
